What to expect from your newborn session?

My Newborn Package is for babies up to 8 weeks old. The best time to get a picture of your newborn is in the first 2 weeks or being born. This is when they are their sleepiest, so we can capture their special moments with ease. If you would like to bring an older sibling along you absolutely can, however, the session is primarily for newborns, so I will focus most of the shooting time on the baby then I will try and get some pictures with siblings & parents.  You can contact me at any time during your pregnancy to give me an estimated due date, I will then make a tentative booking and when you arrive home from the hospital with your brand new baby you can contact me to arrange a suitable time and day for your session. The session is £250 in total and a deposit is not required.

 

What does the session include?

2-3 hour session (it could take 2 hours, it could take 3, it just depends on how settled baby is. You get all the pictures to view and download straight to your computer/mobile device on a secure client gallery on my website.

Photos include print release, so you can use them as you wish.

To Travel or not to Travel?

Newborn shoots are done in my warm and cosy home studio which is based in Hexhamshire. Here, I have a large variety of blankets, wraps, props and more, to choose from within your session. Use the opportunity to have a mini day out with your little one and sit back and relax while I take beautiful photos of your new treasure. 

My Studio with you

Sometime I know it is not possible to travel which is when I can bring my studio to you, pick the lightest spot in your house, make a nice open space and I'll bring a few favourite props and blankets along with me... If only I could bring every thing with me! But I'm afraid I'd need a rather large van! However, rest assured before I pack to come to your home I'll make sure I know all of your favourite colours and favourite photos from my previous newborn shoots.
